Dynamic Arm Recovery Exercise Program (DARE)

Coach Felix Roche (of P3) is proud to introduce DARE (Dynamic Arm Recovery Exercise Program). This program is designed for young baseball players to help them recover from their fall season and strengthen their arms.

Coach Félix, a 25 year veteran of baseball, played semi-pro ball, was selected to the DR National Team and has over 15 years of coaching experience. He has been the head coach at Trinity High School, an assistant coach at ASA college and an area scout for MLB Dominican Republic.

In recent years, Coach Felix has grown concerned about the number of very young players with serious arm injuries and through research and work with fellow youth coaches has developed DARE.

During this 8-week program, players will be taken through a series of exercises to help improve arm health, develop arm strength and improve velocity. In addition, they will be taught exercises to do immediately after pitching to enhance recovery. Each class is limited to 12 players, which allows Coach Felix to focus on small groups and 1:1 instruction.

The cost of DARE is normally $500 but Coach Felix is offering it to GVLL players at a reduced rate of $400. Players may attend 1, 2 or 3, 60 minutes sessions each week. Sessions will be held Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 5:30 and 6:45.

The first session begins next week, November 11. If you're interested in registering for this program or have more questions, please email Coach Felix at [email protected].
