Fall Divisions

FALL REGISTRATION TYPICALLY OPENS IN JULY

STEPS
1. Determine your child's baseball or softball age here. (Note, it's not necessarily their age now or even when the season starts :)
2. Find the division of play (Baseball, Softball) that you are interested in (see below). Baseball is for both boys and girls. Softball is for girls. 
3. Click on the REGISTER NOW! link on the top of this page or log into your account to register your player for the season. 

Scholarships are available. Please email [email protected] with your request before registering.
 


Baseball Divisions

BASEBALL
INSTRUCTIONAL -- SUNDAYS 
This is not a drop-off practice. Parents must remain on field but away from players.  Some parent coaches and volunteers needed. Professional coaches provide instruction on baseball fundamentals in a fun atmosphere.  

T-Ball: 8am-9am @ Pier 40
  • Co-ed, instructional baseball for ages 4-6.
  • Determine your child's baseball age here.

Junior Minors: 9am-11am @ Pier 40
  • Co-ed, instructional baseball for ages 7-8.
  • Determine your child's baseball age here.

Minors: 8am to 11am @ Pier 40
  • Co-ed, instructional baseball for ages 9-­10.
  • Determine your child's baseball age here.
  • This 3-hour program  includes all aspects of baseball instruction as well as an abridged game for 75-80 minutes.




BASEBALL
: MAJORS -- SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS
Runs in the Fall on Saturdays from 2 to 5 and Sunday from 8 to 11 at JJ Walker Park. 

  • Co-ed baseball ages 10-12.
  • Determine your child's baseball age here.
  • Advanced play using a competitive game framework and age-appropriate Little League playing rules
  • To avoid injuries, we monitor pitch counts and use of catchers in all games.



BASEBALL
: UPPERS DIVISION -- SATURDAYS 

One game on Saturdays @ Pier 40 between 1 and 6 pm.

  • Co-ed baseball ages 13-17.
  • Determine your child's baseball age here.
  • One 7-inning game on Saturdays.
  • Play is on a 60/90 field (MLB size).
  • To avoid injuries, we monitor pitch counts and use of catchers in all games.
  • Professional Umpires



Softball Divisions

SOFTBALL
: INSTRUCTIONAL

No previous softball experience necessary. This is not a drop-off practice. Parents must remain on site, but away from players. Some parent coaches and volunteers needed. Professional coaches provide instruction on baseball fundamentals in a fun atmosphere. 

T-Ball (ages 4-6): Sundays 8am-9am @ Pier 40

  • Girls only, instructional softball
  • Determine your child's softball age here.


Junior Minors (ages 7-8): Sundays 9am-11am @ Pier 40

  • Girls only, instructional softball.
  • Determine your child's softball age here.


Minors (ages 9-10): Saturdays / SundaysTime TBD (interleague play against other little leagues)

  • Girls only, instructional softball
  • Determine your child's softball age here.
  • Inter-league play against other little leagues each weekend with one game either Sat or Sun at Pier 40 and other NYC fields


SOFTBALL: MAJORS (ages 10-12) -- SATURDAYS 

  • Girls softball  
  • Determine your child's softball age here.
  • Some softball/baseball experience recommended, but not required.
  • 1-2 games/weekend with instruction.
  • Inter-league play against other little leagues each weekend with one game either Sat or Sun at Pier 40 and other NYC fields.


SOFTBALL
: JUNIORS (ages 12-14)

  • Girl’s softball
  • Determine your child's softball age here.
  • Softball/baseball experience generally required. Times TBD
  • Even more competitive (but still always fun and instructive).
  • 1 practice at Pier 40 each weekend that includes professional coaches.
  • 1 inter-league game with local Little Leagues per weekend.
