Each team makes a team banner to carry during the Opening Day Parade and also hang up during your games. They can be as simple or as elaborate as you want, made of any material -- the range is spray paint on bed sheets to professionally printed. But be forewarned … the home made banners usually win the banner contest on Opening Day.
A good measurement is 3’x5’ -ish.
Please be sure to include the following on your banner:
- "GVLL 2024 [division]”
- Team name
- Sponsor name (same as back or jersey)
- All kids should sign it on or before opening day - A good option is to use soup/cereal bowls to trace out baseballs and have each kid sign their name and uni # in each ball
