Dear GVLL Community,
We will have a remembrance video as well as a slide show. Several GVLL coaches and leaders over the past 3 decades will be speaking about Carlo and how he was (and will always be) the heart of GVLL. We also have a couple former players who have volunteered to speak and would love it if other players, parents, or coaches who coaches with or against Carlo "raise" their hand while on the Zoom to say a few words after the scheduled speakers.
Carlo gave countless hours to so many young ball players as a coach (we estimate that over the years he coached over 1,000 players). He also was a tireless volunteer and board member, who took care of our fields and equipment, as well as managed and coached year round for 3 decades. In better times we'd all come together in person to honor and celebrate him. We look forward to gathering on the ball field another time, but in the meantime we hope to "see you" on Sunday.
