It’s not even Halloween, but planning for the 2025 Spring season is well underway.  I am reaching out to let you know of a very important change coming to Little League that could impact your ability to play in GVLL, so please read.

 

Starting in Spring 2025, kids aged U4 to U7 can register for GVLL regardless of geography.  They are no longer required to have a home or school address that falls in the GVLL catchment. 

 

If you’re unsure of your child’s little league age, please click here for their baseball age and click here for their softball age. 

  

For kids U8 and older who have a U4 to U7 sibling registered in GVLL, they can also play in GVLL regardless of geography. 

 

For all other kids U8 and older wishing to play in GVLL, they still must provide proof of age and proof of home address or school address that is within the GVLL catchment at the time of registration. 

 

Space in our program is limited and we can not prioritize players who are in our “zone” or who have played with us previously.  The only way we can ensure you will have space in GVLL is if you register early. This email is going only to last year’s participants in the hopes that you sign up as soon as registration opens and secure your spot. Our league has been growing every year and we fully anticipate being at capacity again this year -- so please don’t wait to sign up. 

 

Registration will open on November 1st and the fees are the same as last season.  We will email our players on November 1 reminding you to get registered, and will hold off on a broader announcement until the following week.  Hopefully this gives families who have previously played with us a chance to get registered.
