Even if you can't make this weekend, still fill out the form! All communication going forward will come from the TeamSnap. So make sure to be registered. We will communicate alternate tryout dates, etc. ONLY from the app.
Have you considered playing ACEs? ACEs is the baseball travel arm of GVLL. The purpose of ACEs is to offer players a more competitive option in addition to rec baseball. See below for all the info. you need to know to tryout for ACEs.
TRYOUTS FOR SPRING:
We will hold tryouts for the Spring ACEs team Sunday 11/10 from 9 to 11am at JJ Walker Park. If you cannot make this date, please email me at [email protected].
Everyone should fill out the TeamSnap form below because that is how we will communicate going forward re: tryouts.

We plan to field two competitive teams at the 12U level (made up of the strongest 11U and 12U players), and the 10U level (made up of the strongest 9u and 10u players). In the Fall, ACEs is a developmental program. In the Spring, this changes and the P3 staff focuses on making the team a lot more competitive.
In Spring, ACEs is run concurrently with rec. ball. ACEs players must also play in the GVLL Spring rec. season. The ACEs team will practice once weekly and play one league double-header each Sunday. The rec. commitment is two games a week and one practice. The hope is that ACEs Travel, and Spring rec. will not conflict — but this may happen on occasion, and games will always take priority over practices.
The ACEs teams will represent GVLL in the annual Memorial Day Tournament (MDWT). ACEs players must be able to commit to most weekend games, including the MDWT tournament. If this is an issue, please bring it to our attention so that we can discuss.
WINTER WORKOUTS/COACHING:
To prepare the kids for Spring, we will offer specific winter workouts for the ACEs teams which will be run by Jason and team. These will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays with a focus on hitting and conditioning. Lots of reps. And Sunday will be a team practice. These will start the week after Thanksgiving.
OTHER INFO/ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:
During the Fall season, we tended to play teams that were older than us, but in Spring we will always play kids that are the same age. In Spring, all teams in the SUNDAY league will be grouped by little league age divisions. If you have questions as to what little league age your player is, please refer to this chart.
Please either email me directly with questions. Or Francisco, Jason and I are available to discuss any issues live after the tryout.
Best,
ToniAnn Bonade
